They don’t mean to be, but kids can be tough on interior doors. Door handles in particular can take a battering. Every tug loosens the screws ever so slightly and, over a period of time, the handle becomes wobbly.
If that’s a problem for you then here’s a thought. Why not fasten the handles of your interior doors together through the latch, using a bolt through fitting. That way, when the handles are pulled, instead of pulling the handle away from the door you’re actually pulling the internals of the door and the opposing handle too.
