With approximate dimensions of 1500 x 90 x 90mm, it provides a stable anchor point for stair rails while maintaining a clean and timeless appearance.
Newel posts act as the main support structure for staircases, securing the handrail and helping stabilise the entire balustrade system. The natural pine surface is supplied unfinished and ready for painting, staining, or varnishing, allowing you to customise the finish to suit your interior décor. Ideal for staircase renovations and new builds, the Redwood Pine Standard Newel Post pairs perfectly with pine handrails, baserails, and spindles to create a complete staircase system.
Available in double neck and half post options. Half newel posts are used to attach a balustrade to a landing wall. They also provide an attractive finish to the balustrade and help to tie-in the overall look of the staircase. A double block newel post is used where there is a quarter landing on a stair case. It has two square heads.
